For June of this year, I returned to work for One&Other [York] (winners at the O2 Media Awards 2013) as a colourist, assisting the team to create original and compelling content for online broadcast with the aim of complementing their bi-monthly publication.
Although only two years old, their aim to “re-inject the relevance, intelligence, charm, beauty and purpose back into local media” has already seen them win awards and will no doubt go on to win more. Always a pleasure to be part of a team with an ethos which personally resonates so strongly, I spent a month working on a number of lovely short films which I’m looking forward to sharing over the coming few weeks.
York is a beautiful city with more than enough history, events, art and culture to be celebrated and explored, but it’s the community and the craft built around the sharing of these voices and stories which make O&O what it is. O&O TV aims to reflect this and I’m very much looking forward to seeing people’s reactions to our upcoming content. Some tasty treats of films heading your way soon.
