After weeks of crossing my fingers tightly and hoping, I’m absolutely delighted to announce my selection for Art&’s Raw Talent award 2018!
The mentoring scheme offers 12 emerging artists and designer-makers 6 months worth of tailored support with a view to developing the confidence and skills to succeed as a practising artist, culminating in a three day show in October in York. Having dipped my toe into the world of exhibiting last year, and very much learning on the go, I’m thoroughly looking forward to getting stuck in for 2018. The opportunity to present my work at my first big retail show is so exciting, and I can’t wait to meet the other artists!
